LEGEND

St.Christopher - Patron Saint of Travellers
Little is known of St.Christopher but he was probably alive in the 3rd Century born in Canaan and his name possibly was Offero. He was renowned to be a tall, strong man, even called a giant. He was a traveller but eventually was instructed by a Christian hermit to serve Christ by helping others.  Probably because of his height he helped people cross a river and one day he helped carry a small child across the river but the child got heavier and heavier.  Eventually Offero managed to carry the child across the torrent and the he revealed himself as Christ who was so heavy because he carried the burden of the world. It was then that Christ baptised Offero, Christopher which means Christ bearer.
HISTORY
The SS Liverpool ship carrying Cornish tin was ship wrecked off the Isle of Anglesey, Wales, in 1863. 138 years later the cargo of Cornish Tin Ingots was raised from the seabed.  With this tin St.Justin has manufactured the Cornish Tin Collection of jewellery and gifts.
