SHAMROCK
The shamrock is a small three leaved trefoil a native species in Ireland. St.Patrick, in the Fifth Century, used the shamrock as a symbol to indicate the Trinity when he was converting the Irish to Christianity. St.Patrick is the Patron Saint of Ireland and is celebrated all over the world on 17th March.
Pre-Christian times in the British isles the Celtic Druids celebrated the number 3 as a mystical and perfect number.
