Product Description
LEGEND
The three hares or rabbits joined by their ears can be found in cultures around the world.
The hare symbolises femininity and fertility. Possibly due to the practice of a hare boxing with his mate in Spring (March Hare), nature's way of renewal and rebirth.
The three hares are also thought to represent the Holy Trinity as in the Triquetra, the CelticKnot. The county of Devon in England have many carvings of three hares in their churches and are referred to as "Tinners Rabbits". It is not known whether there is a connection with hares and tin mining in the region.
