Norfolk Angel Christmas Hanging Decoration, Gold Bullion Thread on Blue Velvet

Medieval style Angel embroidered hanging. Inspired by the stunning carved wooden Angels on the roofs of Norfolk churches in England. More than 40 churches survived the destruction of the monasteries and churches in King Henry VIII’s reign and the Reformation because they were too high up to reach.

This delightful Angel is embroidered in Gold Bullion thread onto green velvet. A lovely decoration for any festival or celebration.

The embroidery is on one side and plain velvet on the back.  It is padded to approximately one centimeter at it’s thickest part.
