Product Description
HISTORY
The use of Tartan in the military goes back to the use by Scottish regiments, the first being The Black Watch in 1739. The first Airforce tartan established was the Royal Canadian Airforce in 1942. Now there are many military tartans some official but others non-official.
The United States military climbed on the bandwagon in the 1960's when the US Navy was stationed in Scotland. Now most branches of the US military have a tartan.
The Celtic Knot has a retail association with the American military for almost 4 decades and are proud to provide Military ties and the US Airforce scarf.
