HISTORY
The Tie bar or clip came into being to-wards the end of the 1800's in order to keep a gentleman's neckwear in place. Decorative tiebars were hugely popular in the 1920's and quite the fashion statement. It is a very practical piece of jewellery keeping your tie in place especially when a waistcoat is not worn.
