THE KINGMAKER, Richard Neville, The Earl of Warwick 1428 -1471,
The arbiter of Royal Power during the first half of the War of the Roses between the Yorkists and Lancastrians. He was instrumental in obtaining the crown for the Yorkist king Edward IV and later the deposed Lancastrian king Henry VI. Killed at the battle of Barnet fighting Edward IV troops.
MARCUS DESIGNS/ REPLICAS
A manufacturer of Medieval reliefs and busts based in the Vale of Belvoir, Leicestershire, established by the artist David Morton and salesman Brian Flannery in the 1960's and closing down in the early 2000's. The plaques are sort after by collectors because of their historical accuracy and excellent design.
