This Heraldic symbol of the Tudor Rose is moulded from British Gypsum plaster. The sides are engraved with the timeline of the Tudor Monarchs. It can be a stand alone ornament or it is heavy enough for a paperweight.

Tudor Rose
The Heraldic symbol introduced by Henry VII, the first Tudor monarch, combining the Red Rose of Lancaster and the White Rose of York, marking the end of the civil war known as 'The War of The Roses' and uniting England into a period of peace. The Tudor dynasty lasted from 1485 to 1509AD including the monarchs Henry VII, Henry VIII, Edward VI, Jane Grey, Mary I and Elizabeth I.
